Downtime

You may have noticed that my journal was unavailable most of yesterday. It appears that my provider, DreamHost, was caught with its pants down during a massive [DDOS attack](http://www.linuxsecurity.com/resource_files/intrusion_detection/ddos- faq.html) aimed at one of the sites it hosts.

DreamHost has always struck me as a competent organization, but I imagine they’re very much in damage control mode right now: every site they host was taken down by the attack.
